I am delighted to share my experience as a student in Miss Ma's Cantonese class. From the very first lesson, it's clear that Miss Ma is not only highly knowledgeable about the language but also possesses a genuine passion for teaching. Her enthusiasm for Cantonese culture and language is infectious, making every session enjoyable and engaging.

Miss Ma Ying’s lessons are well-structured and tailored to my learning pace. She starts with the basics, ensuring I understand pronunciation and tones, which is crucial in Cantonese. As I progress, she introduces more complex grammar and vocabulary, but she always takes the time to explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my speaking and listening skills since working with her. What really sets her apart is her ability to make lessons interactive and fun. Miss Ma Ying is also very encouraging and provides constructive feedback that helps me improve quickly. I also appreciate how she makes sure to include cultural aspects in the lessons, explaining the context behind certain expressions or words, which gives me a deeper understanding of the language. I had my first lesson with Yan and it was really helpful to bring back some concepts of Cantonese that i studied years ago and that i didn't remember. She was very patient and she did her best to help me improve my pronunciation. Thank you!
