My name is Nadja and I'm from the Southwest of Germany. I have a Bachelor's degree in German Studies and philosophy and a Master's Degree in German Literature. Languages have been my biggest passion alongside literature since early adolescence and during my time at university I learned Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish and Russian. I also really love nature, most of all the ocean and flatland with lots of flower fields and hills and I go for walks on a daily basis. I try to practice mindfulness in my everyday life as much as possible, prioritizing my mental health and taking things step by step.Ich als Lehrkraft
My number one priority when it comes to teaching a language is not only efficiency but also sustainability. I believe that what makes the process sustainable apart from setting realistic goals and having a thought-out strategy, is having a personal connection to the language on a deeper level. I want my students to feel like the language has really made their life richer and better. Languages have the ability to unlock parts of our personality and identity we didn't know before and they can offer us a home in many places in the world. I have been teaching German for a few years now, first I worked for a language school in Switzerland and now I am teaching independently which has given me the skills to create my very own unique teaching materials based on my experiences as an avid language student myself. I combined all of the methods that worked for me and can adjust well to the individual needs of my students based on their personality, interests and learner type. I can teach German in both English and Spanish but can also offer lessons purely in German if my student wants to be emersed in the language completely early on (or if they're already advanced).Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Training Intercultural - Eberhard-Karls Universität Tübingen - 2018I attended a C1-Level Spanish class that focused on teaching intercultural skills which are of course crucial to have for a teacher who is going to be talking to people from all around the world.
