Thank you Ken, it’s always a great pleasure to talk with you. The time flies past in the lessons. I am remembering more vocabulary and my confidence in listening and speaking has improved a lot. I highly recommend Ken as an excellent and encouraging teacher. He speaks slowly and clearly and motivates you to talk about interesting topics and share ideas. I have learned so much about Chinese history and culture.

Ken is an excellent tutor, I highly recommend him. He is always on time, patient and good humoured. His Chinese accent is also very standard and clear. It's rare to find such a good male teacher. 5 stars!

I really enjoy lessons with 史堃. As an advanced learner, we use history and literature as our focus. This means our lessons give me the opportunity to practice speaking, explore culture and to learn interesting things all at the same time. I also send him any words or poetry I come across during my own study that I want to discuss, review or have explained in our class. He is always on time, patient, friendly, professional, and in good humour.

We had an engaging lesson where we addressed some questions I sent a few days in advance about Confucian analects and HSK 6 course questions.

Ken is an excellent Mandarin teacher - his pronunciation is flawless. I have taken lessons with dozens of teachers over the years and he ranks among the best.

He was very professional and the conversation between us flowed naturally. We came up with a specific plan targeting the goals I wanted to work on (Classical Chinese, improving my reading skills) after he got to learn my background as a learner. I really enjoyed the trial lesson I had with him.
