I appreciate the lesson. Teacher Malala is a great teacher; he is patient and knowledgeable. This is my second lesson and so far so good. I think he was a good choice and seems to be a great fit. The lessons are fun and he is flexible with topics and questions. My 3year old is also present for the lessons, which is not a problem for him. This lesson was scheduled for an hour but went a half hour over and he made time. I am excited for my next lesson and feel this will be a great learning experience. Tutaonana Baadaye Mwalimu Malala!

Nimefuraha sana kuzungumza tena nawe leo. Levy anajua jinsi ya kumfanya mwanafunzi aongee. Kwa hiyo, kila wakati kuna mambo mapya ya kuzungumza. Ninapenda mbino yake kwa sababu anaandika maneno mapya na kuyaeleza. Aidha, Levy ni mvumilivu kabisa. Gracias por nuestra clase de hoy amigo, siempre es un placer hablar contigo.

This was my first real conversation in Swahili and he made me very comfortable. I realized how much I need to practice not just speaking but listening to the language as well. I enjoyed just practicing conversation and when I would get stuck and not know a word or some particular grammar, he would send me a chat so that I could see the word and know its meaning. I have been able to say a few words to my Swahili speaking patients, but this was a real challenge for me and I look forward to speaking with him again.
