Hi, I am Teacher Cherry, it's so nice to meet you. I am a Mandarin teacher from Nanjing, China. I am a full-time online teacher of Mandarin to children and adults on major online platforms. I have more than 5,000+ hours of experience teaching online.

For children, I mainly teach Chinese Pinyin, storytelling, talking with pictures, idiom stories, historical stories, children's songs and nursery rhymes. For teenagers, I teach Chinese character writing, reading comprehension, idioms, Tang poetry and Song lyrics, and AP Chinese exam, and for those who need to take the Mandarin exam, I offer pronunciation correction exercises. My kids have been using italki for several years now and have taken classes with many teachers, some of whom are no longer teaching, and they are very happy with Cherry老师. Right now, all three of my kids take lessons from Cherry. She’s very patient and makes lessons fun and challenging, from beginners to intermediate/advanced students. She’s versatile and able to connect with my children’s differing personalities and age ranges. My children’s Chinese have progressed nicely since learning from Cherry老师. We’re happy to have found her and hope to continue taking lessons with her for a long time!
