Professionell Deutsch lernen mit Spaß und Struktur! Ich habe Phonetik, Linguistik und Psychologie studiert und meine Doktorarbeit über die Kognition von Sprache geschrieben. Ich unterrichte seit vielen Jahren im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht, in Präsenz und online. Ich habe auch die Qualifikation als telc-Prüferin. I studied phonetics, linguistics, and psychology and wrote my doctoral thesis on language cognition. I have been teaching German for many years to individuals and groups—both face-to-face and online, privately and at the adult education center (VHS). I am a qualified examiner for the German telc certificate.

I believe the passion that I have towards teaching and tutoring has driven me more and more to become a mentor, communicator, and language coach. German teacher and influencer with over 6 years of teaching experience After trying out a great deal of methods and approaches as far as language learning, I started teaching on italki 5 years ago to pass on what I've learned through a lot of experimenting and language immersion. I have now lived in many different countries and each time immersed myself in the language and while this is a good approach, it is not enough on its own and its not a possibility for everyone. However, speaking to native people using video calls is possible for anyone. That's why I am happy to teach my native language on italki and pass on my knowledge.

I see value in a lot of different methods of language learning. However, the best method is useless if you lose motivation halfway, and even with a less efficient method you can be successful in learning a language if you have fun doing it. This need motivated me to start my journey as a private teacher, refining my teaching techniques since 2006. Fluent in English too, I chose to specialize in my native language due to the importance of correct pronunciation. A non-native teacher may unintentionally pass on pronunciation vices to their students. I like to bring this into my lessons, making you understand the language as a whole, instead of just memorising words and phrases.
