Hi everyone!
I saw this article earlier in time magazine and it got me thinking about how people like to study at different times. As we all wake and go to bed at a different hour, the time of day when we are at our best for study purposes varies too. I've often called students in their offices at (their) 6am just after they had arrived for work. Some people like to do their study in the morning, as it helps them to relax into the day knowing that they have learned something new (Eat that frog!). Others prefer to have their lessons in the evening, when the day's work is done. But what do you prefer? and why?
I'm surprised by the polarisation apparent in everyone's answers; not many people seem to enjoy studying at lunchtime as we do Alex Nguyen!
Quiet time is very important Diana Owaykn. I read somewhere that if you can't dedicate a full hour to studying a topic, without distractions, then you won't get the maximum benefit from it. I tend to agree, as I can't relax fully into a study session when I know I have to stop again in 20 mins.

Things we read before bed can influence what we dream about. So long as we're not too tired to absorb the information to begin with! I hear it can help to read before bed and then review first thing in the morning too.

Learning in the morning, you'll feel fresh and would like to accept new knowledge.
But as well, learning before sleep can help as no other things can influence the last knowledge you just got.
And from some psychological research, you will recall this memory in your dream.
