On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. The item in question is a brand-new Apple laptop, model 1214,with dimensions 20 inches by 18 inches, and it is black in color. Additionally, it was inside the same color case at the time of loss. Despite my carefulness, I misplaced my laptop in the Marriott Hotel because it was connected to the charger in my room 1234 between 2 and 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Unfortunately, no one from the hotel staff informed me about it. Today I called the Hotel but they did not find my laptop. Given the circumstances, I would like to request compensation for my lost item because the cost of this laptop is about five hundred Canadian dollars. I can provide the purchase receipt or, alternatively, we can refer to the current price listed on the official website. Please let me know if you need any additional information for my claim.
