This trial lesson is an interactive 3 part lesson. Part 1 is : Getting to know my student. I will ask easy questions such as where do you live? Favorite color, favorite food, do you have a pet? etc. Part 2: Student Objectives. I will ask questions about what my student wants to achieve during a lesson. Is it fluency, or perhaps grammar, test preparation, reading skills etc. Part 3 is about what my student can expect during a lesson. Here we agree on what times and days are suitable, what teaching materials my student prefers, if he or she would like homework after lessons etc. During trial lessons or regular lessons, a safe and cofortable space is created where they don't need to be nervous or on edge. Students will have fun learning common English expressions used in everyday conversations. Students will also learn the meaning of these expressions and how to use them correctly. This lesson does not focus on a certain textbook. The main focus is understanding these expressions in their non-literal sense. In this lesson, I will be using the scenario- based teaching method to help students learn these expressions within a particular context.

In this lesson, we discuss intersting topics to put the English language into action! You get to choose the topic. It could be about ordering food at a restaurant, asking for directions, shopping, traveling, at the salon/barber etc. You don't have to be shy during the lesson. Practice makes perfect!

Listening and Speaking Skills

In this lesson, students explore the building blocks that make up the English language as well as important grammar rules. It doesn't matter what level you're at. There are plenty of learning opportunities packed in this lesson. Let's get started!
