Welcome to our trial lesson! In this session, we will focus on learning more about your goals, current skills, and interests to help tailor future lessons to your needs. We will engage in a brief introduction, discuss your language learning experience (or any prior knowledge), and explore topics that excite you. This interactive session will include a mix of conversation, basic exercises, and a short assessment, giving me insight into your strengths and areas for improvement.

By the end of the lesson, we will have a clear roadmap for your learning journey!

¡Bienvenido a nuestra clase de prueba! En esta sesión nos centraremos en conocerte mejor, comprendiendo tus objetivos, habilidades actuales e intereses, para adaptar las futuras lecciones a tus necesidades. Haremos una breve introducción, hablaremos sobre tu experiencia previa en el aprendizaje del idioma (o cualquier conocimiento que ya tengas) y exploraremos temas que te interesen. Esta sesión interactiva incluirá una mezcla de conversación, ejercicios básicos y una breve evaluación, lo que me permitirá tener una visión clara de tus fortalezas y áreas de mejora.

Al final de la clase, tendremos un plan claro para tu camino de aprendizaje.

Learn the basics of the Italian language through the storytelling methodology, focusing on input comprehension and simple oral production. This lesson will provide authentic material for you to learn more about the Italian culture while acquiring the basics of the language.

In case of zero prior knowledge, lessons are held through the aid of another language you already know (best if it's your mothertongue). Available languages are English and Spanish.

Materials I use (I will share them with you): books, grammar exercises, readings, videos, podcasts, articles. 
At the end of each lesson, I will give you my feedback and some suggestions you could take into consideration for further practice. In my opinion, a lesson should never be an end in itself: my aim is to help you in every step of the process.

Divertiamoci! Italian through stories (Italian language and culture) - A1 to B2 👂💬

This lesson is focused on conversation and is meant to help students become more confident in speaking Italian. Please note the student's level should at least be A2 for this lesson (you should be able to communicate in a very simple but effective way, please choose a different type of lesson if you are totally new to the Italian language and do not have basics of communication).

Part of the lesson will consist in following the flow and practising communicational skills in the most natural way. The main part of the lesson will focus on a suggested topic of interest in line with your preferences and needs. I believe this strategy will help you build a more comprehensive and varied vocabulary across a range of carefully chosen topics.

Materials I use: books, readings, videos, podcasts, articles, grammar exercises (if needed).
At the end of each lesson, I will give you my feedback and some suggestions you could take into consideration for further practice (you can call it "homework" if you want). A lesson is never an end in itself: my aim is to help you in every step of the process.

This lesson is specifically meant to focus on grammar and vocabulary exercises in a more "traditional" way, usually much needed when you have exams to pass. I will provide explanation of grammar rules, useful material and exercises/ activities to help you navigate the crazy world of English as a foreign language.

I am available to structure an English individual course in a certain amout of time, planning and covering all the aspects of the language you may need for an exam.

Esta lección está específicamente diseñada para centrarse en ejercicios de gramática y vocabulario de una manera más "tradicional", algo que suele ser muy necesario cuando tienes exámenes que aprobar. Proporcionaré explicaciones de las reglas gramaticales, material útil y ejercicios/actividades para ayudarte a navegar en el loco mundo del ingles como lengua extranjera.

Estoy disponible para estructurar un curso individual en un determinado periodo de tiempo, planificando y cubriendo todos los aspectos del idioma que puedas necesitar para un examen.

Students are encouraged to suggest topics of interest the lesson can focus on. The main aim of this lesson is to practise communicational skills. I will then plan the lesson according to the student's needs and interests, providing useful material in advance and as homework for self-study.

Lezioni riservate a studenti italiani. Lezioni di lingua (grammatica, civiltà, vocabolario) e letteratura (inglese, americana). Focus sulle 4 skills linguistiche (listening, reading, writing, speaking) a partire dalle necessità dello/a studente/ssa. Si prevede una lezione di prova (che si prega di prenotare in prima istanza) per poi pianificare un plan di lavoro in base agli obiettivi da raggiungere. Si forniscono materiali di studio, resoconto delle lezioni, compiti di self-study. Il focus non è mai solo l'acquisizione di competenze grammaticali, ma lo sviluppo di abilità comunicative. Pertanto, ogni lezione, grazie anche ai momenti di self-study che prevede, si pone l'obiettivo di potenziare tutte e quattro le skills linguistiche.   

L'italiano verrà utilizzato come lingua di supporto (specialmente nelle prime fasi di lavoro), ma verrà poi abbandonato in favore di un'esperienza più immersiva e un approccio più comunicativo.
