Cambridge B2 FCE Exam Preparation

I believe in keeping things simple and using clear, straightforward language to help you achieve your desired band score. Many people assume that using advanced vocabulary is necessary for a high score. While that can be true to some extent, if you are not able to use advanced words correctly, it may lower your score. That is why I focus on essential linking words that can effectively improve your performance.  

In our lessons, we will explore conditional sentences with "if" to discuss possible situations, helping you express ideas with confidence. We will also work on expanding your vocabulary with words like "more," which indicate an increase in quantity or degree, enriching your writing without making it too complex.  

A key part of our sessions will be learning how to connect and extend ideas smoothly. I will show you how to use "and" and "also" to add information naturally, and how to emphasize important points with "not only... but also." We will practice using "to" and "the" for clarity and specificity, and I will explain how "which" can be used to add extra details about a noun, making your sentences clearer and more precise.  

I will encourage you to reflect on your progress, helping you think carefully about what you have learned and how to apply it effectively. We will also work on cause and effect by using "because" to explain reasons, "therefore" to show logical conclusions, and "so" to indicate results, allowing you to create well-structured arguments.  

Finally, I will guide you in using "when" to refer to specific situations and teach you how to introduce contrasting ideas with "but" or "however." With this approach, you will not only prepare effectively for your exams but also develop a strong foundation in English.
