This is a trial lesson to get to know each other and see how we can work together. I'll ask you some questions about yourself and your English language goals.

This class is designed for students who are preparing for a presentation, pitch or public speaking opportunity.  You will be able to deliver your presentations confidently after this session.

I help students prepare for presentations of any kind by helping them prepare their material in a clear and concise way and deliver the presentation with confidence. I have helped people in many different situations, from founders pitching to VC's to business executives presenting to their boards. 

We'll review your material and practice going through the presentation to improve everything from the introduction to the conclusion of your pitch and work on key phrases that can help you get your message across to your audience easily.  If you need help with your presentation, this is the class for you.

This lesson is perfect for students who want to improve their conversational skills.  Whether you want to get more comfortable introducing yourself or speaking with colleagues, you will be able to speak with confidence and avoid misunderstandings after taking this class

Topics can include recent news and world events as well as business discussions about the latest trends in economics, technology or global politics.  

This lesson is best for students with at least a basic understanding of the English language who are able to express themselves.  Conversational practice is a great way to sound more like a native speaker, avoid misunderstandings and portray a professional attitude in business conversations.

🎙️🗣️Conversational English Practice & Business English Practice 👩‍💼💼👨‍💼

These lessons are designed for students who are looking to interview with an English-speaking company.  You will be prepared to answer all types of interview questions after this session.

This is a great chance to do a practice interview with a native English speaker with management and hiring experience and get feedback before you interview with a company.

I'll start by reviewing your CV and the job description of the company you are applying for.
Then, I will ask you a few questions about the company and the specific role you are applying for.  Then we'll discuss potential interview questions based on your industry and role.  I'll work with you to ensure you have strong answers as well as examples from your past experience to help you answer the most common interview questions.  

I'll make sure that you're comfortable explaining your answers in English and that you are delivering them in a clear and concise manner.

I'll also coach you on proper interviewing etiquette, including before, during and after the interview. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident before your interview.  

I was a hiring manager for three years and have interviewed hundreds of potential candidates in the past, so I know what types of questions companies and hiring managers like to ask and how to best answer these questions.

We can also discuss salary negotiations and job expectations.

You will feel more confident and prepared for your interview after this session.

This class is designed specifically to help you prepare for an interview in a short amount of time.  We will discuss the most common interview questions and make sure you can talk about your work experience clearly.

I'll review your CV and the job description of the position you're applying for to give you an idea of what types of questions the hiring manager is most likely to ask.

This is class is specifically for resume/CV review, editing or creation.  You will have a better resume and/or cover letter after this session.

Resumes should be tailor made to showcase your best skills and accomplishments related to specific jobs you are applying for.

If you already have a resume, we can review the resume today and I will provide recommendations on how to improve your writing to create a more effective resume.   

If you don't have a resume yet, we'll discuss your academic and professional career and create a standout resume together.  (Please note, creating a resume from scratch may take more than one class.)
