Modern Turkish Literature
As an academic with 12 years of experience in the field of modern Turkish literature, I enjoy teaching Turkish literature very much. Modern Turkish literature is roughly the literature starting from the mid-19th century, when the modernisation movement started in Turkey, and continuing until today. The most important feature of this literature is the emergence of a new genre for the first time in Turkish literature: the novel. The novel is the defining genre of this period, but other literary genres written before it also continue in this period: poetry and story. 
In this course, you can either learn a literary history starting from the first period of Modern Turkish Literature, or we can read some novels or poems and talk about their literary characteristics, their social-political context, their intertextual references.
In order to take this course, you need to know Turkish at least at B1 level. Since this is a personalised course, I recommend you to contact me before taking it.

Modern Turkish Literature

This course is for students who have completed A2 level.

-In the structured speaking lesson, I will correct the mistakes you made in the lesson. Moreover, I will explain these errors grammatically. 
-We will talk about the topics you want or are ready.
-One of the aims of this course is to improve your vocabulary. You will learn more vocabulary with images and videos. (Videos are available for advanced level students.)
-What you learn in the lesson will be ready on your personal Google Doc. folder and you can work whenever you want.

Structured Speaking Class (A2+ Levels) Ages 12+

We will study this course with a course book series prepared according to CEFR. We will also practice what we have learned using Google Doc in class. I will also mentor you by checking the homework I give at the beginning of the class.

Classical Language Course-Ages 12+
