The trial lesson is for us to have a chance to get to know each other, see if the chemistry is right, and for you to get a sense of my teaching style. 

I like to spend some time discussing what your goals are, where you're currently at in your language learning journey, what materials you've used so far, and how you prefer to learn. I will also show you the materials I have available, and how we may implement them in our lessons. 

You will get the chance to ask any questions you may have, and let me know what kind of topics are interesting and important to you, so that we can prioritize that as well.

Velkommen! This is the lesson type for you if you're new to the language. 

I will guide you through fundamental grammar, teach you basic vocabulary such as how to introduce yourself, how to ask and answer questions about where you live, people you know and objects you own. 

As you progress I will move on to teach you expressions related to everyday life such as basic personal information, food, shopping, geography and employment. You'll be able to give simple descriptions of things and provide routine information. You'll also be able to give a simple description of your background and the place you live and environments you spend time in.

If you were to travel here or already are in Norway, I'll help you with relevant vocabulary related to that, or any that appears relevant to your life spesifically, like talking in simple terms about your hobbies and interests.

On our first call together, I will spend some time getting to know you, discussing your goals, get a feel for what you know of the language from before, what your motivations are, what resources you've used to far and how you prefer to learn. I want to learn as much as I can about you to help set you up for success and create a language learning plan you feel good about!

Norwegian Basics for Beginners - Norsk for Nybegynnere!

This is a casual lesson where I will help you practice your conversational skills. 

We can talk about a topic of your choice, or if you're unsure I will help you out and guide the conversation. 

Whenever needed, I will help you with grammar and pronunciation so that you can get closer to sounding like a native, and help you get used to listening to the language.

After each lesson, I'll happily provide a document with feedback, tips for improvement, audio files for listening practice of challenging words and phrases, and whatever else that may be helpful to you.
