This lesson is an introduction to my courses. This will allow the student teacher to get to know each other. During this lesson, I will explain my teaching style and you can convey what you expect to get from my lessons. As well, we will communicate so that my courses will cater to your individual needs.

Students will be able to practice conversation. Students may talk about any interests they may have. Conversation practice is often casual and lighthearted. This lesson plan does not include any concentration on grammar or vocabulary. Topics are prepared beforehand, but may change upon request of student.

Conversation Practice

This is an academic based class with lesson preparations. Students will learn new grammar and learn to expand their vocabulary. This class is suited for students who have a low level or intend to concentrate on grammar.

Grammar and Vocabulary for All Levels

Students will gain conversation skills while improving their grammar. Main focus will be on conversation, but teacher will also provide documented corrections.

Conversation and Correction

120 hour premier course: I was required to learn methodology, reinforce grammar principles, complete a telephone teaching course, observe classroom teaching, and complete a large class course.

Completed an exchange year at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, studying Philosophy in Korean. Actively participated as a member of the international student organization (student council). Gained teaching experience through English camp instruction and peer tutoring.

Completed an exchange semester at Kansai Gaidai University, studying art and Japanese language.

Pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Art with a minor in Psychology at the University of West Florida, expected graduation in Spring 2025. Studied abroad for 1.5 years, including completing research on a scholarship in Japan.
