During our trial lesson we will have a conversation about your goals in English and your level.  I will also give you a preview of what I can offer you as an English teacher as well as some tips so that you can learn on your own time.

FOR BEGINNERS (A2)

➡️ The main goal for this level is for you to feel comfortable using the English language. I will motivate you to speak about yourself and your life, while offering a small amount of corrections. Lessons will be relaxed and easy until you feel more comfortable 😊

FOR INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED (B1 - C1)

➡️ I do not rely on the "free talk" method in my English conversation lessons. This technique is in my opinion, a lazy way to make money online and ends up hurting students by allowing the tutor to not really focus on their improvement. 

Instead, I do this: 

➡️ I use a variety of questioning techniques that are designed to get you expressing yourself in more detail, allowing you to formulate new opinions and ideas in English. 

➡️ I create a friendly and informal atmosphere that focuses on your speaking improvement. 

➡️ I offer my opinions on different topics only to enhance the conversation which allows students to challenge their own opinions and practice expressing themselves more deeply. (meaning, I do not spend the whole time speaking about myself.)

➡️I use direct and indirect correction methods depending on your preferences. 

➡️I take notes of pronunciation and common grammar mistakes, and offer extra free online materials to help you improve this on your own time. 

➡️I will lead the conversation, all you have to do is to be willing to engage with me and be ready to talk about things that you may or may not have spoken about before, even in your native language. 

➡️ If you are unfamiliar with a topic, I will send you materials before class to allow you to formulate an opinion as well as give you the opportunity to practice speaking about what you have learned.

I believe the best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it as much as possible. To practice not only speaking but reading, listening, and writing as well! 

That is why I created this option. In addition to our conversational practice, you will also have homework tailored to you. 

Depending on what you need extra practice with the most, whether that be listening, reading, writing or pronunciation and grammar. I will do it for you! 

This lesson could also be helpful if you need help with articles, resumes, or cover letters you need to create in English! :)
