It’s a pretty nice action-stealth game featuring political conspiracy, vengeance story and black magic in an environment inspired by the best steampunk fictions. Enjoy.

おはようございます。日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。

きのうは、
東京都(とうきょう)、
神奈川県(かながわ)、
大阪府(おおさかふ)の人口の話をしましたね。

ところで、
この東京都の「都」
神奈川県の「県」
大阪府の「府」

と、けん、ふ、とちがうことばですね。

英語では、
Tokyo,
Kanagawa Prefecture,
Osaka prefectureと言います。

でも、日本ではprefectureは県(けん)や(府)といいます。

たとえば、
Hiroshima prefectureは、広島県(ひろしまけん)
Fukuoka prefectureは福岡県(ふくおかけん)
といいます。

京都と大阪だけ、とくべつです。

"県"ではなく"府"といいます。

京都府(きょうとふ)、大阪府(おおさかふ)ですね。

なぜ県や府があるのでしょうか？
