Katholische Kirche
Die katholische Kirche ist eine der großen Religionen in Deutschland und in der Welt. Die Gläubigen nennt man Katholiken. Katholik wird man durch die Taufe. Die meisten Familien lassen ihre Kinder als Babys taufen. Der oberste Chef der katholischen Kirche in der ganzen Welt ist der Papst. Katholiken sind Christen. Die meisten Christen in Deutschland sind entweder katholisch oder evangelisch.

evangelische Kirche
Die evangelische Kirche ist eine von den beiden großen Kirchen in Deutschland. Sie gehört zum Christentum. Evangelische Christen heißen auch Protestanten. Der Name kommt aus der Geschichte: Die evangelische Kirche ist entstanden, weil Christen protestiert haben. Vor ungefähr 500 Jahren haben sie sich gegen schlechte Zustände in der katholischen Kirche gewehrt. Ein wichtiger Anführer der Proteste war Martin Luther.

Vatikan
Der Vatikan ist ein sehr kleiner Staat. Dort lebt und arbeitet der Papst. Der Papst ist der Anführer der katholischen Kirche. Der Vatikan befindet sich in der italienischen Stadt Rom. Es gibt dort viele berühmte Bauwerke, zum Beispiel den Peters-Dom. Im Vatikan arbeiten viele Menschen. Sie treffen oft wichtige Entscheidungen für die katholische Kirche. Der Vatikan hat als Staat auch sein eigenes Militär: die bekannte Schweizer-Garde.

Papst
Der Papst leitet die katholische Kirche in der ganzen Welt. Er ist der oberste Chef der Katholiken. Der Papst wohnt und arbeitet im Vatikan in der italienischen Hauptstadt Rom. Wenn ein Priester zum Papst gewählt wird, darf er sich einen neuen Vornamen geben. Er wird dann nur noch bei diesem Vornamen genannt.

Christinnen und Christen
Christinnen und Christen sind Menschen, die an die Bibel und an Jesus Christus glauben. Das Christentum ist eine der großen Welt-Religionen. In Deutschland sind die meisten Menschen Christen. Manche von ihnen sind evangelisch und manche katholisch.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
Step 1: listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
Step 2: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
Step 3: listen one more time, repeat after it.
Step 4: practice until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

サユリさんは海外旅行から帰ってきたばかりで、まだ時差ボケが残っています。今日は8時にアラームが鳴（な）りましたが、体がだるく10時にやっと起きることができました。
サユリさんは発酵食品（はっこうしょくひん）が好きで、特に納豆が好きです。今朝は納豆とご飯、そして味噌汁を食べました。
サユリさんの趣味は家庭菜園（かていさいえん）です。ベランダで野菜を育てています。今日もトマトとナスに水やりをしました。
昼間は久しぶりにいとこに会い、旅行のお土産（みやげ）を渡しました。一緒に海鮮丼（かいせんどん）を食べました。新鮮（しんせん）で美味しかったです。値段はたったの800円でとてもコスパが良かったです。
そして夜は友達とカラオケに行き、飲み放題（ほうだい）のコースを注文しました。たくさん歌って食べて、楽しい時間を過ごしました。
充実（じゅうじつ）した１日になりましたが、次の日は二日酔（ふつかよ）いになりました。
