I will also share communication techniques and steps you can take to be understood and advance your career. I will use everyday language as much as possible, and I’ll share definitions for idioms and phrases at the end of each episode. From time to time, I’ll invite guests. I cannot wait to talk to some inspiring folks and share those interviews with you!

Bonswa: nou di bonswa nan aprèmidi ak nan aswè pou good afternoon ak good evening – we say good afternoon and good evening in the afternoon and at night for good afternoon and good evening

Today's phrase for ESL learners is to be "knocked" down.

It can mean anything which has been knocked over, it can also mean when someone is involved in a car accident.
Examples:
My little cat sometimes knocks things over (or knocks things down).
My friend was knocked down by a passing car.
