안녕하세요, 여러분! 오늘은 한국의 독특한 전통 음식, 미역국에 대해 이야기해 볼게요. 혹시 한국 사람들이 생일날 꼭 미역국을 먹는 이유를 들어본 적 있나요? 이 음식은 단순한 국이 아니라, 깊은 문화적 의미와 역사를 담고 있답니다.

먼저, 미역국의 기원을 살펴볼게요. 옛날, 삼국시대 때 고구려 사람들이 고래가 출산 후 미역을 먹는 모습을 관찰했다고 해요. 고래들이 미역을 통해 건강을 회복하는 것을 보고, 사람들도 출산 후에 미역을 먹기 시작했죠. 미역은 철분과 칼슘이 풍부해서 산모의 회복을 돕는 음식으로 자리 잡았습니다.

그런데 이 전통이 발전하면서 생일 문화와도 연결되었어요. 생일날 미역국을 먹는 건 자신을 낳아주신 어머니를 기리고, 그분의 희생에 감사하는 의미예요. 그래서 한국 사람들에게 생일날 미역국은 꼭 먹어야 하는 상징적인 음식이 되었죠.

재미있는 점은, 미역국과 관련된 속어도 있다는 거예요. 한국에서는 "미역국을 먹다"라는 표현이 실패를 뜻하기도 해요. 미역이 미끄러운 식감을 가지고 있기 때문에, 기회가 미끄러지듯 사라졌다는 의미에서 나온 표현이죠. 그리고 아주 독특한 욕도 있는데요, 바로 “너네 엄마가 널 낳고 먹은 미역국이 아깝다”라는 말이에요. 이건 "엄마의 고생이 헛되었다"는 뜻인데, 절대 사용하지 않는 게 좋겠죠? 😅

我们来看看道德经的第三章。

不上贤，使民不争；不贵难得之货，使民不为盗；不见可欲，使民不乱。是以圣人之治也，虚其心，实其腹，弱其志，强其骨，恒使民无知、无欲也。使夫知不敢、弗为而已，则无不治矣。

第三章的内容，对许多人来说都是有争议的。Some people may not understand this chapter, because we tend to think intellects are good. 然而，老子看到了有才德的人的问题。In my understanding of this chapter, it means intellects bring about ego, which is not align with Tao. 表面上突出的事物会带来争斗。老子追求的是顺其自然，无为而治。竞争和欲望可以导致战乱，When I said the sage weakens people’s ambition, you may disagree, because our time is the age of ambition and everyone want to become better. But this also makes people anxious and overload. Lao Tzu advocates letting go and non-doing, go with how things are. 当所有人都满足于自己的生活，天下就会太平，不会有争斗。
