As the 97th Academy Awards (aka The Oscars) approach, experts are still in the dark about which of the ten films nominated for Best Picture is the most likely to win the statuette. Sean Baker’s faux fairy tale Anora, Bradley Corbet’s immigration saga The Brutalist and Edward Berger’s papal intrigue thriller Conclave seem to be leading the way. For Brazilians, it could well be Walter Salles’s political drama I’m Still Here.
