Habit stacking in a business context is a behavioral technique for integrating desired routines into existing workflows. By capitalizing on the automatic nature of existing habits, the cue to perform the target behavior becomes ingrained, increasing its adoption and persistence. The effectiveness of this technique hinges on selecting appropriate trigger habits – frequent, consistent actions with minimal cognitive load.
