Hey there!☺ Do you enjoy reading books? My favourite books invariably include some sorts of detective stories or fantastic worlds with unique creatures. I've been trying to find out what the actual reason of my affection for those genres are, but I can't seem to come to grips with it. Recently I bought another book called "The Hound of the Baskervilles" which is the third of the four crime novels written by Artur Conann Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes and his companion Dr. Watson. Reading this book, I was constantly discovering new vocabulary and interesting grammar constructions which can help express an opinion or thoughts in general. Frankly speaking, I don't think those ways of conveying one's thoughts are commonly used in the modern world, but it is an immensely valuable experience for me to expand my knowledge! I'm not jumping the gun saying it's one of the best series of books I've written so far as it comprises a tremendous number of great stories and an incredible "language" that is not commonly spoken nowadays. I think my words are validated by the populariry of a world-wide known author of this book and by the popularity of the book in particular. I'm always willing to try out something new when it comes to reading as I hope that new books will captivate me and I wil be completely immersed in a process of reading new stories by various authors!

Hey there!☺ Do you enjoy reading books? My favourite books invariably include some sort of detective stories or fantasy worlds with unique creatures. I actually don't know why I favour these genres. Recently I bought another book titled "The Hound of the Baskervilles" which is the third of the four crime novels written by Artur Conann Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes and his companion Dr. Watson. Reading this book, I continuously discovered new vocabulary and interesting grammar constructions which can help express an opinion or thoughts in general. Frankly speaking, I don't think those ways of conveying one's thoughts are commonly used in the modern world, but it is an immensely valuable experience for me to expand my knowledge! I'm not jumping the gun by saying it's one of the best series of books ever written as it comprises a tremendous number of great stories and an incredible "language" that is not commonly spoken nowadays. I think my opinion is backed by the world-wide popularity of the author and this book in particular. I'm always on the look out for new books by various authors that are just as captivating as they are immersive.
Good choice of a book. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a great story teller and a keen observer. Did you know he got a man free who was wrongly accused of a crime using insightful observation techniques. He solved that situation in a way that Sherlock would have solved it. Then again he created Sherlock Holmes so no surprise there. Well done on the essay.

1) Sentence one focuses on items/themes in books while sentence 2 switches to genres. Keep your focus the same. State either "I like detective and fantasy books" or switch "genres" to "themes, subjects, etc." 2) You mentioned books in general, but this is the first time you mention buying a book, so use "a". 3) This is a run-on sentence. You can fix it by dissecting it into multiple sentences. 4) This sentence doesn't tie to the preceding sentence. It's a great sentiment, however you focus on detective and fantasy books/a specific book in your paragraph. Possibly finish with, "I enjoy books that captivate my imagination and broaden my understanding." This was an impressive piece of writing. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to hearing about the next book you read.
