I was very happy to talk with two girls for about two hours. We have the same major, they have learned Russian language for more years than me. One has learned Russian language for eleven years, now she is working in a trade company. Another has learned Russian language for six years, she has not finished her graduate career. We all like travelling, reading, watching movies, eating in a good restaurant and singing. We all have our own view of the world and our lives,I have learnt a lot from them.

I was very happy to speak with two girls for about two hours. We had the same Major, and they had been learning the Russian language longer than me. One of the girls had been learning Russian for eleven years, and now she is working in a trade company. The other had been learning for six years, but she had not begun her graduate career. We all liked travelling, reading, watching movies, eating in good restaurants and singing. We all had our own views of the world and our lives: I learned a lot from them.
I’ve changed a lot of the tenses here to past perfect continuous, eg. ‘she had been learning’ (when talking about learning, as this is continuous action, not complete, so not simple past) because you are talking about an event that happened in the past: meeting the girls. The rest I have moved to past simple as the conversation happened in the past and concluded in the past. It is quite complex, so don’t worry too much: this is a difficult story to tell as it includes many times/ tenses, and if you chose past simple tense or present perfect, it would be totally fine, but I think to be 100% correct technically, I’ve made the past perfect continuous suggestion ☺️😉
