What little things you have been doing that make a big difference to your life?
There is a little thing I have been keeping doing for sevral years is to avoid involved too much in work place. The longer I have been working, the more I trust on this.
I believe that most of the terrible feelings we get from work are caused by emotional issues: you are angry about the injustice among peers, you are upset about the performance review feedbacks, you are helpless because of your unreliable colleagues...
In the past, I will be involved in the negetive feelings for a little while at first, then started to respond to the real problems with a bad emotion, when I realised emotion was wasting too much of my energy, I tried to stop being involved when issues happen, stop to feel it, because how you feel means nothing to the results, and directly start to think why and how, why this happen? How can I solve this? If you can't solve this, report it to your line manager for help( not just pass the problem, you should be prepared for any issue report or support application). Remeber you are not the only one to be blamed, and even you are, the best way to solve is facing it and taking action.
It was hard to control myself at the first, but more practices there are, the calmer person I am, focus on the issue not focus on my feelings, I keep it in mind always.
Now I am still on the road to improve, and I suppose that this little change can bring out a more productive working life for me.
