Writing Exercise 382 – KUNG HEI FAT CHOY! (恭喜发财!) Today is Chinese New Year's Eve. Chinese Lunar New Year is coming in a few minutes. I wish you all prosperity. To celebrate the most important festival, our family has made some traditional food, such as deep fried glutinous rice balls(煎堆) (pictures from 1 to 3), crispy triangles(油角)(pictures from 4 to 5)and deep fried thin twisted dough(蛋散) (picture 6). The food is sweet, apart from the dough. The white ball-like in picture 7 is the stuffing of the fried glutinous rice balls(煎堆). The pictures 7 and 8 are folded uncooked triangles. Hope you all enjoy the pictures and happy Spring Festival!
