Since the Tết holiday, I have been busy with teaching, studying, and planning, so there remains little time for other pursuits. To put things in order, I have decided not to jog, read books, or write for a while. Still busy, but less overwhelmed, I am now able to find time for what truly matters to me.
"I have decided" is better than "I decided" because you are talking about yourself right now. Past tense is not wrong though.
"To put things in order" works better if it is placed closer to the verb it modifies.
The infinitives "to jog", "to read", and "to write" work better than the gerunds "jogging", "reading", and "writing" because infinitives are more decisive than participles. Since you are expressing firmness, infinitives work better.
