That’s a good question, especially since right now I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a slump in learning English. Answering this question might help me regain my passion. I’m eager to study abroad, especially in the U.S., because many prominent researchers are there, and I would love to join their projects. Still, I sometimes wonder if my English skills will ever truly improve. It feels like, no matter how much I study, I lack confidence. Just yesterday, I attended an academic conference, but I could only understand about 60% of the presentations. I realize I need to put more effort into learning rather than focusing on my doubts. I have to remember what my dream is and stay committed to it.

I agree with you! Do not focus on your doubts, though focus on getting better. I tell all my students: *Little by little, becomes more and more* Start by improving little by little and in no time i believe you can master what you need to know. If you need help, let me know.

Hi Konomi, what were the presentations about that you only understood 60% of? What prominent researchers do you want to join in the US and what are the projects? What is you dream that you want to stay committed to?
