As a country with over 5000 years of history, I really understand what my foreign friends want to see when they visit my country. Meanwhile, as a developing country, my foreign friends are also curious about what my country have achieved in the past few decades. So, there are a few great places I’d like to recommend to my foreign friends. Historical heritage of China. The first place to visit is Xi'an which was the capital of many greatest dynasties in ancient times. The stunning culture there often makes you feel as if you were walking the streets alongside famous poets from the Dang dynasty or as if you were just cheering for the young general from Han dynasty called Huo Qubing who was just 23 years old, but already had defeated the Huns many times. The wind from history blows through our hair in Xi'an which makes us feel proud of our culture. Modern times in China. Then we’ll travel from Xi'an to another city which is known for its colorful streets and tall skyscrapers. It's definitely Shanghai. This modern city is a miniature of the fast economic miracles that happened in China for last 40 years. History and modernity form a thriving and friendly country who is just spreading his arms to welcome all friends around the world! What are you waiting for, my friends?
