The education you receive from your family is more important than the education you receive from school. To what extent do you agree with this statement and why? Some people argue that the education we receive at home is more important than that received at school, some think differently. Although what we learnt from our relatives is vital for our personal growth, I believe that school education is more essential in a wider perspective as I will explain in this essay. To start with, the education we received from our family is priceless, it teaches us values at an early age. It also shapes us as well behaved citizens with good manners, moreover it brings us love and understanding, aspects that we could not live without. Nevertheless, this many times is not enough. The school provides us with a real platform to find our path in life. Many times while we learn we observe the different possibilities of what we will become. While learning about numbers one will want to become in an engineer, or another might fall in love with science and study to be a biologist or a doctor. For instance, when I was a school I looked after one of my teachers, he was very passionate about his profession, and made entertaining and funny classes, after seeing his commitment and love for his career I decided to become a teacher just like him. Furthermore, kids can develop their skills at school. A lot of students develop skills that sometimes are hard to develop at home, like social skills for example. At the same time, children are able to increase their confidence in singing, playing a sport, writing or even acting. This undoubtedly widens up ways for the children’s future lives. When I was in fourth grade I received theatre lessons, our teacher happened to be a professional actor who appeared in soap operas in Colombia, many kids look up to him and ended up following his steps. To sum up, the education we get at home is unvaluable, however school educations is more important to have
