Today we went to the Volcano Park, 30 minute drive away from main downtown area of Tengchong. We walked to the base of the volcano, where we saw high steps go up to the top of the hill. My parents decided not to proceed because it just rained heavily and the road was slippery. My daughter and I picked up the steps and went up. There were 3 sets of stairs with a small rest area at the landing of each. Only after one set of stairs, my daughter felt uncomfortable and turned around and returned to the foot of the hill. Then I had to go up alone. After a while, I arrived at the top and saw the crater of the volcano. It looked like a bowl-shaped depression around the orifice of the volcano, and was covered by thriving plants. I took a walking path around the rim and walked alone. Again it was like I had booked the whole volcano. Although according to the reviews of early visitors, many were underwhelmed by this attraction, I still felt it was worth a visit. For me, this is the first time I observed the volcano crater upclose. I enjoyed the view alongside, the fresh air, and the loneliness at the top of the volcano.šŸ˜‚

Good work. Follow me if you like my answer. Steps are outside, stairs are inside.

Hello! I think your written English is really good. You have veeery little errors in usage of words. Your trip sounds fun! I also went to visit an ancient mountain from the Perso-Kurdish period called Mount Nemrud. The journey was just like yours, climbing the stairs was a little tiring but it was worth it :)
