Taxi driver is an american dramatic movie directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schrader in 1976. The main actor is Robert de Niro.
The film is settled in New York in the 70´s, after Vietnam war. Travis Bickle is a lonely marine, mentally inestable who starts working as a taxi driver. He suffers from insommia, so he works at nights. Then, he falls for Betsy, a volunteer in Palantine´s presidential campaign. Travis becomes volunteer after seeing her speaking with another volunteer and he achieves a date with her. In the second date he carryed her to watch a porn movie in a theather and she get offended. Travis tries to mend the situation sending to her a bounch of flowers which later will be rejected.
