J'aimerais or Je voudrais
Could someone help me with this; As I understand, J'aimerais and Je voudrais both mean "I would like" so what is the difference and what is the correct application for each of the phrases? Thank you

If I'm not mistaken, "Je voudrais" expresses (more) the idea of volition (la volonté) and "J'aimerais" the idea of a wish (l'envie, le désir).
