No way! I download many books and read them on my tablet, because it is sometimes too difficult to find this book on the paper (old or on the other language). Also many books are too expensive for me: I read about 1-3 books every week, so I cannot spend so much money for it.

But I realy prefer to feel the paper, take it in my hands. So when I really like the book, I'll find it on the paper.

Yah of course , Hard books will never loose its significance as it is easy to read and access. Online books have its own drawback that it make person tired sooner than normal one, hurt eyes drastically and speed of reading is also slower than normal books.

Still online books are helpful in some cases when hard books are not available or you are unable to carry them with your self.

But these condition and cases will not help to reduce the significance of hard books.

Yes it wil happen - unfortunately. I also love to keep a real book in my hands. But the future digital business models mean that every price of basic products tend to zero and that can be only realized with e-books. The major German publishing houses are already looking forward to the new market rules. In the non-fiction area we already can see that the time to publish a book is much to long. In the meantime high-quality magazines have published the ideas and studies.

I love e-book readers as they allow me to read a book in a language I could otherwise not. It is so easy to look up a word in a dictionary. Besides, they save space and are easier to carry arround when I move, or carry on a travel. I can't think of a single advantage to paper books, at least for lesure reading. For studying, paper does have some pros and cons. As for your question, I think that might eventually happen but it will be a slow process. I just hope proper e-book readers stay arround, as I can't stand the glossy screens on tablets.

Personally I really prefer to have hard book in my hand. it's much easier to study and I fell comfortable... I haven't finished any eBook so far but I can finish a hard book faster.
The best gift you can give me still is a book :)
