Yesterday I was here to find a language learning parther, But I asked him if he had ID skype, and she said no ,she had fackbook.
But in China to register fackbook is a very troublesome thing, I still register , but actually to upload the province Card Photo can continue
I would like to ask in foreign country is also like this, and I have not a friend .
This is my question.
As K P suggested, it's a China related thing. When I still used fb, it was easily accessed from Europe and NAmerica, but troublesome from China. The government over there limits the 'undesired services' such as fb, Alphabet/Google services etc.
In case you've wechat (which you probably do), I can help out with your English. Send me a private message here if you're interested.
Also, I'm curious... what kind of software development do you do?
Peter, there are some sites where you can't regster easily due to the site's policy: mostly it is paid services, or sites where copyrighted material (music, videos, etc) can be wieved/downloaded.
But not FB.
They only ask for e-mail or mobile phone number. In some cases they insist on mobile phone number: when I registered two accounts from the same computer, they said it is suspicious and insisted on mobile number:) At least that's how it worked a few years ago.
So now it is policies of Chinese government, not FaceBook.
I have already registered to Facebook, already had a good friend, all OK
