Hi, there, I'd like to highly recommend a Chinese documentary to you guys today. It's A Bite of China (Chinese: 舌尖上的中国) . It is a Chinese documentary television series on the history of food, eating, and cooking in China. The first season has seven episodes, introduces the history and story behind foods of various kinds in more than 60 locations in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. My friends and I love it very much. You could watch it if you are interested in Chinese culture and delicious food. I'm sure you will like it very much. The advice I most want to give you is that you'd better don't watch it at midnight or when you are very hungry. It will definitely drive you crazy. Lol. O(∩_∩)O哈哈~
Here is the video with English narrative: <a href="http://english.cntv.cn/special/a_bite_of_china/homepage/index.shtml">http://english.cntv.cn/special/a_bite_of_china/homepage/index.shtml</a>
I've seen this series and I thought it was great, so thank you for pointing it out to others.
It's not midnight here, but now I am hungry for some shaozi mian, baozi and some rou jia mo from Xi'an.
Richard, thank you for recommending. Actually, I haven't heard the program. I will check it out.
Kate, Suzanne, you're welcome. Hope you like it. O(∩_∩)O~
