How do you organise your notes?

I'd love some suggestions as to how people organise their language notes in a way that's effective and also easily accessible for revision etc. Send me pics if you have them too :)

TIA

The way I take notes I guess it´s pretty old-fashioned. I just use those yellow note pads like the ones lawyers use and I divide them basically in 3 even sections: vocabulary, grammar and common phrases. I find I learn better when I write down what I study into my own handwriting even though I think I´m the only one that can understand it :P I keep the block next to me to review and I also used to write down on flash-cards, but those I find are easier to make and take everywhere on a device like the phone.

One thing you could do is write things down in sections. Have all the vocabulary you learn in a day or lesson, along with a synonym or clues to remember the meaning of the word, then under those words and expressions you can write down some example sentences that you came up with or you saw written down. On another section/page write down the grammar/structure you saw or learned along with examples as well. It may take a lot of pages/ space to do it this way but if you plan on reviewing that content it will be easier to understand.
