Does True LOVE exist on Earth ? I often think everyone make relationship for his or her personal gains or material benefits. Every relation which exist in our society has connected some interest whether it is parents-children relationship or Wife-Husband Relation or whether it is Boy Friend Girl Friend Relationship. Parents brought up children because they thought that they will take care of us when they will become old. Similarly, Wife and husband love each other as long as their interest are met. If anyone of them does not fulfill other's needs, relationship is broken. Similar is the case with Girl friend and boy Friend relationship. What are your thoughts. Can I find a True Love ?

True love exists between me and my dog, more evidently when I bring him a cookie.

The only loving relationship that I can think of, that includes unconditional love, is the love of a parent for their child.

Wow, you have a really sad view of what love is all about. True love is not something that is logically reasoned, it's something that is felt in your heart. The type of relationships you describe don't have anything to do with true love, but more with mutually beneficial agreements. When I met my husband (the cool guy in my picture), I just felt an instant connection. I was not thinking about how this guy traveling through Europe with his guitar would be able to be beneficial to me. It was all about feelings. Same when my kids were born. Love at first sight.

I do not know whether there is "true" in the world considering human life is short and fragile in case of no good definition for true or love. Supposing there is a love that comes from nature without saying, that must be the love between parents and children.  When a baby was born,  the connection to the parents would be increasingly tight and firm as the child was raised. Given this, love seems to be consolidated through constant care and thoughtful consideration and contribution. A birth parent does not necessarily have deep love to the child if the child was adopted earlier at young age with no much time to be with the parent .
