A masculine singular word beginning with a VOWEL. That's why we use the article L'.

Whether we wear it on our wrist or hang it on our wall, we call it L'OROLOGIO. :)

A passionate Italian song by Ivano Fossati is called "L'orologio americano".
Its lyrics are not easy to understand.

In Italia in molte città c'è "Piazza dell'Orologio".
