¿SER O ESTAR?
One of the most difficult things for my students is to difference the spanish verbs: SER and ESTAR, as both are translate as TO BE in english.
Some books gives some explanatios about the temporary criteria, but it doesn´t fit in every case, so, at the end, the students are much more confused as in the begining.
The first thimg that you have to do as student is to learn the form of the verb. Here I attach you it to memorize it easly.
Once you have memoraze it, it is the momento to start to use it. But ¿When i have to use SER and when I have to study ESTAR?
Ok, forget about the temporary criterio, here I´m going to explain the defitive criterio that you have to use:
SER- It is use when we are talking about a CARACTERISTIC of a thing or person.
ESTAR- It is use when is something CIRCUNSTANCIAL.
