What are the best beginners books in French?
Hi All,
Started learning French and really would like to be able to read in French as well.
I tried reading Harry Potter but so far it's a little too difficult for me. Have to look up to many words to really enjoy the reading/story part.
So now I'm looking for some nice beginners books in French that are still interesting to read.
Who has some good tips?
Thanks :)

CIDEB has simplified stories with audio CD. I have about 40 titles for tutoring children and adults.
The stories range from A1 to B2.
Examples:
Énigme en Périgord (A1) - ISBN 978-8853005083
Traces dans la neige! (A2) - ISBN 978-8853005908
Les Misérables (B1) - ISBN 978-8853009111

Hi there, I'm also studying French now. Recommend you to check out "À la recherche de Mariana" (by Dominique Renaud) and Enquête Capitale (by Marine Courtis). They're interesting and made specifically for beginners: exercises on comprehension are included in both books.
