Trial Lesson
Is it fair to use a trial lesson after I did the lesson, which was for normal price? I didn't see the trial one when I was booking. The duration is the same, but the price is two times less.

I'm not an Italki teacher, but if I were, I would think that was a weird request. It isn't your teacher's fault you didn't choose to do the trial

If you liked the lesson with the teacher, it wouldn't come off as nice if you booked a trial lesson with them after a proper lesson. After all, you already had your trial. I'd safe the trial lesson for another teacher you might want to try out in the future as the trial lessons are limited. We only have three trial lessons in total:

"What are Trial Lessons?

Trial lessons are a way to learn how to use the italki system. They give you a chance to see the whole picture of what the italki experience is like at a discounted price. Trial lessons will help you get used to the payment process, the scheduling system, and how to confirm a completed lesson.
Each user has three trial lessons that they can use to try out italki. You can use 1 trial lesson per teacher, and you can use them whenever you’d like. You do not need to use them all at once, trial lessons do not expire.
The purpose of offering trial lessons is to give a way for students to get to know the system, not a way to get to know the teachers. If you are on the fence about a teacher, we would recommend researching feedback about the teacher from previous students, and watching their introduction video.
However, if something happens and your trial lesson gets cancelled, you can contact<a href="https://support.italki.com/hc/en-us/requests/new" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(13, 57, 87);"> italki support</a> with the lesson ID # of the canceled lesson, and we'll reactivate it for you."

Hi
sorry to hear that Aud,
but I don't think is fair since you chose that option, but maybe you can work something out with your teacher, like a special lesson a bit cheaper than usual.
Good luck anyway

Thank you guys for your comments. I decided not to use the trial lesson with this teacher.

Miriam, thank you for information, I didn't know we have only three trials overall. I thought you may take it with every teacher if they offer it.
