you can watch all live TV from the UK without restrictions at www.filmon.com There isn't any subtitles though, but it is live.
Unless it's not a TV series Wow.ted.com is my favorite.
Here you can find a variety of movies and series in English with English subtitles. The website gives you 20 or 40 free minutes a day (I don't remember the exact number, sorry). As for the subscription, it is rather cheap and it gives you an opportunity to download any movie or series (with subs) or to watch any of them online without any time limit.
watchseries.ag is a good site. You can usually find tv episodes with English subtitles. Be careful, though, because some streaming services there contain malware. Just have your antivirus updated and running.
