Radhakrishnan
Blogging ,Mostly a Thankless Job I have created a blog named ckrenglishclass.blogspot.in which I post my viewpoints about the new trends in teaching English.Whenever something useful for students and teachers in my state gets published,I try to post a link to the article so that things never go unnoticed.I have also included useful links to the webpages that would help anyone try to improve their English. To update my blog I spend three or four hours a week without any monetary benefit.More than 17000 people have already visited the blog. But the curious thing is that only two or three persons have taken care to comment on my work though they have been using the blog for purposes, one or another .One positive word will keep you alive for many days ,but in this hectic world nobody cares.

You are so right,Radhakrishnan.I have a travel blog and many of my friends visit (not as many as your blog) and they tell me that they enjoyed it but they rarely leave a comment. This frustrates and disappoints me somewhat because I would like them to leave some visible trace of their visit, and to leave me something expressing their thoughts.I don't know why they sometimes comment on Facebook but don't bother to leave their comment on the blog itself.Strange, isn't it?
