My neighbor Charles I have been these days into this television show which is about foreign people who live in South Korea. In fact, I don't enjoy much of TV but once I start to watch something, I go with it to the finale. I think this show will be one of the few that have got me stay by the TV religiously. This recently-started-to-air could be titled 'my neighbor Charles' or something if I should translate it into English. You can see in the show a triple of people- an italian, a french, and a russian- and how they live in Korea with a different cultural background, how they struggle, and how they try to melt in it. I like the most out of the three the Italian woman's story who married a Korean guy and moved to Korea. She has been living at her husband's parents' house with them for ten months and undoubtedly having a hard time. She cannot call her parents-in-laws by their names and she has to say yes to their opinions even though they seem unfair. She didn't understand why all of the family members cannot be equal and why hierarchy exists within a family. I guess it could have been a little bit exaggerated for broadcasting and fun and yet, admit that it is still part of married life in Korea. She works at an italian restaurant as a chef- I hope to go and visit to taste her dishes one day. When she comes back home after work, she is forced to do house keeping work including cooking while her husband is not. Well, in my opinion, as long as her couple lives under the parents' roof, she will get in trouble forever. I was symphasizing with her calling her mother in Italy in the meantime before going to bed. I couldn't have handle it if I were put in that situation even as a Korean. Maybe I would be making out on my husband from all the stress I have got from his parents and forced committments from them. It is pityful. Now I am looking forward to next episode. Would things get better or worse with this young Italian wife?

This show recently-started-to-air started to air recently and it could be titled 'My neighbor Charles' or something like that if I should were to translate it into English. You can see in The show follows a triple of three different people - an Italian, a French, and a Russian - and how their lives in Korea. with a different cultural background, how they struggle, and how they try to melt in it It shows how they struggle to adapt to a culture different from their own.

I like the most Out of the three the one I like the most is the story of the Italian woman story who married a Korean guy and moved to Korea. She has been living at with her husband's parents' in their house with them for ten months and is undoubtedly having a hard time. She cannot call her parents-in-law by their names and she has to say yes to agree with their opinions even though they seem unfair. She didn't doesn't understand why all of the family members cannot be equal and why hierarchy exists within a family. I guess it could have been a little bit exaggerated for broadcasting and fun and yet, I admit that it is still part of married life in Korea. She works at an Italian restaurant as a chef and I hope to go and visit to taste her dishes one day. When she comes back home after work, she is forced to do house keeping work including cooking while her husband is not. Well, in my opinion, as long as her the couple lives under the parents' roof, she's in trouble will get in trouble forever. I was sympathized with her when she called her mother in Italy in the meantime before going to bed. I couldn't have handle it if I were put in that situation even as a Korean. Maybe I would be making out on my husband from all the stress I have got from his parents and forced committments from them Due to the stress and forced commitments from the parents I would probably end up taking it out on my husband. It is pitiful. Now I am looking forward to the next episode. Would Will things get better or worse with for this young Italian wife?
