My Hometown
I come from Noakhali which is one of the biggest and ancient cities of Bangladesh. I have lived here for most of the time of my life. It is situated in the southeast part of Bangladesh. Even though it is far from the capital city--about 4 hours drive--but it is very crowded. Moreover it is culturally enriched and full of natural beauty. It is densely covered by a wide variety of green trees. They Bay of Bengal is in the southern part of this city. The city represents an extensive flat, coastal and delta land.
Noakhali has one of the finest transportation systems in the country--by road, railway and waterway. Buses are the most common form of transport. and They are easily available and run to a wide range of destinations. Inter-City and local trains operate to most common destinations. Water transportation is popular in the southern part of the city.
The people of this city speak in an informal Bengali dialect. But, [don't use "but" to start a sentence. Combine it with the sentence before or change "but" to "however"] it does not have any recognized grammar recording. It has no formal use in public, courts, or legislature. People usually prefer the standard form of Bengali for their communication with the wider community and use this dialect as a means of communication only with indigenous community of Noakhali.
[Very interesting! I learned a lot]
