Story
It was eleven o’clock at the night when the phone rang. It was very strange. I only was in this house two weeks. The phone was installed that morning. I didn’t wait for anyone to answer. I stopped the film that I was watching and walked to the land line which was ringing insistently.
When I picked up the phone, my grandma answered to my voice. She told me that she needed me. She had been cleaning at the upstairs when she heard a loud cry that scared her, and in that moment she fell downstairs and her leg felt wrong. She thought that her leg might be broken, so she began to feel dizzy. I told her that all it would be okay, that I would be there immediately to help her. Then I hung up the phone and called the ambulance.
As quick as a flash, I arrived at the home of my grandmas, in that moment I found her fainted and the paramedics were taking her to the ambulance and then to the hospital. I went with them.
The next day when the doctors was telling me that she had been lucky that I called the ambulance quickly, because my grandma had had a concussion and she could have died but now all was well, she came around.
Later, she asked me what had happened and I explained to her what had happened. She was remembered everthing but not that she called me. I thought perhaps it was because of the concussion,
No entiendo este punto:
but my mobile phone sang. I had received a message:
“We regret the interruption of its landline the last 24 hours. The fault has been fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
