Books Are The Stepping Stones To Human Progress
Books Are The Stepping Stones To Human Progress
A Chinese saying goes that "learning to be good takes thousands of days, while learning to be bad takes no time" (中国有句名言说,“学好千日不足,学坏一日有余”). Another one is "learning is like rowing upstream; not to advance is to dropback" (另一句是“学如逆水行舟,不进则退”).
I hardly read books that I haven't read before this month Every time after I had dropped reading for some days, when I restarted, I would find that I became blundering those days
I read The Prince and the Pauper and The Mysterious Strange by Mark Twain in Chinese version recently; I felt I was still ignorant after reading them
I should treasure time and read more (我应该珍惜时间,读更多书).
