You can also say "en passant", kind of an equivalent to "while we're on this topic".

Il y a plusieures locutions. Les plus proches sont peut-être "d'ailleurs" (also, moreover) et "au fait" ([back] to the topic). Si tu commences une phrase, tu peux aussi utiliser "à propos, ..." ("by the way, ...").
