meaning of "it’s all you" Hi guys. I came across the following phrase in US TV show Desperate Housewives: Okay, it’s all you. It’s all you, you’re doing great! This woman Gabriel has been teaching a girl cycling and the girl is doing good. Does this phrase mean "you are the best" ? And is this phrase commonly used? Thanks

Hi. It means that the girl is riding the bike without any help from anyone. To answer your other questions- the phrase is not commonly used and it doesnt mean that she is the best. Bye.

"It's all you" can also express that it fit's in with the persons personality. As another example, if someone was always wearing 'loud' or very distinctive clothes and was trying on a new item at a shop that was also 'loud' a friend might comment "It's all you" to express that the new item fit's with the past.
